Humble Beginnings
The Highland Label division of Highland Corporation started in 2005. Beginning with one operator on one press, it supported a small customer base by printing labels for produce packaging, or clamshells. Over the past 6 years the division has grown to a staff with more than 150 years of experience in design, prepress and printing.
Complete In-House Printing Services
We provide design services, prepress, printing, finishing and shipping for standard and custom labels. Highland Label helps guide their customers through barcoding, traceability, and food labeling standards for organic and non-organic products. With the capacity to produce over 2.9 billion labels per year, Highland's Label Division is quickly becoming an industry leader.
Equipment
The Art Department uses Macintosh workstations with the full suite of Adobe Products for design and prepress, high-end imposition and ripping stations with full in-house Flexographic platemaking.
Print production includes 5 (five) narrow web flexographic presses up to 10 colors.
Presses have inline clear coats, lamination, die-cutting, slitting and stripping, variable data and 5 (five) rewind stations.
